Au-Pair in France

General Conditions:

Au-Pairs receive a minimum of 433 EUR pocket money per month for 25h/week or 520 EUR per month for 30h/week. The working schedule accommodates family's habits and needs. The Au-Pair is entitled to at least 1 free day per week, once a month this should fall on a Sunday and a paid annual holiday of 4 weeks for 12 months of stay. The Au-Pair contract can be extended up to 24 months. It is compulsory for Au-Pairs from EU countries to participate in a French course. The host family, however, is obliged to cover the costs towards the language course. The host family is required to cover the costs towards health and liability insurance.

Au-Pair Requirements:

• Age 18 and 30 years (from 17 years for EU citizens).

• Not married and have no children.

• Posses at least a basic knowledge of French.

• You are studying in your home country or have a school leaving certificate that entitles you to study (no restriction for EU and EFTA citizens). Au-Pair Visa Information

• Willing to go to France for at least 3 months.

• Willing to attend a language course during your stay in France (compulsory for EU citizens).
